I Hope It Was Enough…

“Someday I’ll look back on these times and question if I was enough for you… I try to live my days now, so the answer to that question will always be YES.”

Someday I’ll look back on these times and question if I was enough for you…Did I make you laugh enough? Was I present enough? Did I let you know how much you are loved enough? I’ll hope it was enough. But better than hoping is doing. That’s why I try to live my days now, so the answer to those questions will always be YES.

I hope I chose a great dad (co-parent) for you, and that who you’ll choose to be with in life is a reflection of him. No matter what happens in our relationship, as long as we have shown you the way to a great path that celebrates differences and connects over similarities, it’ll have been enough.

I want to show you that you can grow a career AND a family AND have some left over for yourself, and some fun. I want the unfiltered experiences of today to be woven into your human tapestry for decades to come. I don’t know if I’m doing it all on most days, but I hope it’s enough.

I marvel at you. I cherish you. I adore you.

I hope you think of yourself in the same way, because YOU are (and always will be) more than enough.
